Commissioning of Senior Citizen Relaxation Center in Omole Phase II: A Promise Fulfilled by Ogbara

In a significant event that demonstrated her dedication to the elderly, Honorable Kafilat Ogbara, Member of the House of Representatives for Kosofe Federal Constituency, officially opened a Senior Citizen Relaxation Center in Omole Phase II on 28th September 2024.

The initiative, themed “Promise Made, Promise Kept,” emphasizes Ogbara’s commitment to the welfare of her constituents.

During the ceremony, Ogbara expressed her heartfelt gratitude for the opportunity to serve the elderly members of her constituency.

Reflecting on her campaign promises, she stated, “When I engaged with the elderly during my campaign, I made it clear that their voices matter. They told me they needed a place to relax, read newspapers, and socialize. Today, I stand before you, proud to have facilitated the realization of that vision.”

The facility, designed as a sanctuary for senior citizens, includes reading areas and social spaces, fostering community interaction and engagement.
