N197m Theft: Access Bank Official, Olawunmi Audu Arraignment Stall

The arraignment of a female banker with Access Bank Plc, Olawunmi Audu, charged with the alleged theft of N197 million from a customer as suffer set back.

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC instituted the suit against Olawunmi Audu at the Federal Capital Territory High Court, Zuba

When the matter came up for arraignment, EFCC Counsel, Halidu Mohammed informed the court of that the agency would like to amend the charge information, praying for short adjourned date to effect changes.

Olawunmi Audu did not oppose the prayer.

The presiding judge, Justice A. O. Ebong conceded to the appeal and adjourned the matter to March 22, 2021 for arraignment.

Olawunmi Audu was docked for allegedly abetting the theft of the sum of N197, 200, 000 belonging to a customer and private company, De Chimex Aluminum and Steel Company Ltd.
